Claire Lomas MBE
A story of triumph over adversity. Claire was paralysed from the chest down after a horse riding accident, shattering all her dreams and goals as well as losing her identity but has gone on to achieve the unimaginable.
In 2012 she walked the London Marathon, taking 17 days, using a robotic suit. She has now raised £850,000 for charity through various challenges, rides motorbikes, has recently qualified a pilot and is a mum to two girls.
