Gavin White, CEO and co-founder of Autotech Group Becomes The Latest Member to Join The Automotive 30% Club
We are very pleased to announce that Gavin White, CEO and co-founder of the Autotech Group, has joined our network of CEOs and MDs, to become the latest member of the Automotive 30% Club.
The club was founded by Julia Muir in 2016 with the purpose of achieving a better gender balance within the automotive industry, and with the aim of filling 30% of leadership roles with diverse women by 2030.
The Autotech Group is committed to creating recruitment and training solutions for the automotive industry. At the end of last year, the company launched a new division to run alongside its training and recruit divisions – Autotech Academy.
Created to help fill the automotive skills funnel through a paid internship, Autotech Academy will work hard to not only ensure that women studying for an automotive qualification have the same intern opportunities as men, but that a new generation of women are attracted to the automotive industry to create a diverse, and sustainable pipeline of fresh talent.
Gavin White, CEO and co-founder of the Autotech Group comments:
“I am delighted to join the Automotive 30% Club. It is widely recognised that there are too few women working within the industry but, through Autotech Academy, we hope to start demonstrating the benefits of a career within the sector at a young age to attract a new generation of women.”
Julia Muir, Founder of the Automotive 30% Club and CEO of Gaia Innovation comments:
“We are very pleased to welcome Gavin White of Autotech Group into the Automotive 30% Club, as our latest member. Autotech is a forward thinking, innovative organisation and I truly believe that Gavin will help to drive change throughout the industry, alongside the support of our current network of CEOs and MDs. We’re delighted to welcome Gavin on board, in order to help to achieve a greater diverse gender balance throughout the industry.”
